Jergen Herbst Travel Award
Graduate students who have had papers accepted for presentation at the International Standing Conference for the History of Education may apply for the Jurgen Herbst Travel Award in the year in which their paper is accepted. Graduate students must be members of the History of Education Society (USA) to apply for the award.
Applications must be submitted to the HES President by May 1st. The HES Board will select the Jurgen Herbst Travel Award recipient and notify him or her by May 31st.

- ISCHE proposal
- copy of ISCHE acceptance notification
- curriculum vitae
- brief statement (200 words or less) of how the paper fits into your scholarly agenda
- a note on what other funding, if any, is available from your institution
