Please join us for a guided educational history tour of Nashville, Tennessee. Tour stops will include Fisk University, the Nashville Public Library’s Special Collections and Civil Rights Reading Room, and Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development. The tour will highlight the contributions of Nashville’s colleges and universities to the history of American education, and will introduce participants to the Nashville Public Library’s collections in civil rights, desegregation, and Southern educational history.
