History of Education Society's 2012 Linda Eisenmann Prize
The History of Education Society is pleased to sponsor the Linda Eisenmann Prize for Distinguished Scholarship by a Junior Scholar in the Field of the History of Higher Education in the United States.
The Prize Committee (Marybeth Gasman, Roger Geiger, and Bruce Leslie) solicits nominations for works that fulfill the following criteria:
- Subject: The History of Higher Education in the United States
Authors: A Junior Scholar (i.e., PhD awarded since January, 2006) - Genre: An article, essay, or book
- Publication Date: March, 2010 through February, 2012

Nominations may be made by the author, another scholar, or by the Prize Committee. Nominations may (but are not required to) include two letters of support by scholars in the field. The work should be forwarded to Marybeth Gasman in paper (three copies) or as electronic versions.
